How to Join the Falling Rivers Gallery
The Falling Rivers Gallery is a cooperative gallery of the Stanly Arts Guild.  Members
representative work must be juried and approved to be offered for sale in our gallery.  In
addition several rules apply:
  1. Gallery members must maintain membership in the Stanly Arts Guild.
  2. Artists will pay a $15 fee quarterly to the Gallery due on the 1st day of each quarter
    (January, April, July, October).  Make checks payable to Falling Rivers Gallery.
  3. A 20% commission is deducted from the selling price and goes to the LLC who owns
    the building.  In addition, the artist will be deducted the credit card fee for each credit
    transaction.  The Gallery will collect and pay state and county sales tax for you.
  4. The Gallery is staffed solely by volunteer members.  Each member exhibiting work in the
    Gallery is expected to work a minimum of one day a month or 2 half-days.
  5. All art work must be original.  No craft kits are permitted.  We only accept high quality
    art and crafts.  No reproductions.  We do accept prints made from your own work.
  6. Each new style/medium must be juried.  This includes new art forms for an exhibiting
    artist.  To download a jury form please select JURY FORM.
  7. All inventory must be either for sale, or for orders taken. Orders taken are subject
    to the 20% commission.   Artists are requested to rotate their work in and out of the
    gallery every few months.  Items displayed for over one year must be removed.
  8. Although all work will be treated with great care, the Gallery and the Stanly Arts Guild
    cannot be responsible for theft, breakage, or damage.
